Applications

  • For machine resizing of drilled and bored holes to precise size diameters in a variety of normal ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
  • For reaming abrasive materials where excessive reamer wear is a problem.
  • Mounts in chucks, collets or similar toolholders using portable or stationary machines.

Features

  • Expansion feature allows reamer to maintain its initial size by compensating for wear on cutting end. When the reamer wears, the adjustment screw is adjusted to expand the reamer oversize. It can then be reground to the appropriate size and resharpened as needed throughout the life of the tool.
  • Expansion screw should never be loosened in an attempt to cut a smaller size hole.
  • Maximum expansion: .003″ to .005″
