The straight shank, single or 6-flute countersink tool is made from C2 grade solid carbide, perfect to produce a flat bottom for a flat-head screw to fit flush with the surface. This product supports enlarging the opening of a hole on a wide range of workpiece materials including Steel, Stainless Steel, High-Temp Exotic alloy, Non-Ferrous, Cast Iron, Plastics. The tool is exclusively designed for general-purpose countersinking, chamfering, or deburring. The countersinks work best on speeds upto 500 rpm, depending on the size of the cutter and material. Rushmore offers single and 6-flute countersinks in standard sizes of included angles 60°, 82°, 90° to fit most head screws. All models are available in 6 different sizes 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1 inch with a shank diameter of 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2″. The tool is offered in varying tool lengths of 2, 2-1/2 and 3″.
