Features

Round die with chamfers on both faces; one side provides a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for reliable thread initiation, the opposite side provides a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

Fine pitch screw adjustment moves the die halves apart or together for precise thread depth control.

The slot is beveled to allow adjustment when used in a machine holder; the adjusting screw can be removed so the holder’s adjustment screws can be used.

Designed to improve wear life in repeated threading operations and produce clean, accurate threads.

Bright uncoated finish aids visibility of chips and helps with deburring and cleanup after cutting.
