Features

    HSS construction provides wear resistance for repetitive threading tasks.

    Round die with faces chamfered on both sides; one side features a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for starting threads, the other side a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading near a shoulder.

    Fine pitch screw adjusts the die gap to set the thread size; sides can be forced apart or allowed to spring together.

    Beveled slot design enables adjustment in a machine holder; the adjusting screw can be removed for adjustments using the holder’s screws.

    Specifically suited for 3/8 inch-32 threading on round stock with an outer diameter up to 1-1/2 inch.

    Use cases: fabricating 3/8 inch-32 threads on round stock and threading close to a shoulder where space is limited.
