Round die is chamfered on both faces to facilitate starting threads and reduce cross-threading.

One face features a two to three thread chamfer for entering threads; the opposite face offers a one to one and a half thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

Fine pitch adjustment screw moves the die halves apart or together to set thread depth and alignment.

Beveled slot design enables adjustment when used in a machine holder; the adjustment screw can be removed and adjustment performed by the holder’s screws.

Designed for precision threading on stock up to seven sixteenths inch in diameter with forty-eight threads per inch.
