Preferred by everywhere from metal fabrication shops to homeowners’ garages, CWG Flap Discs are very safe in operation. CWG Flap Discs is a type 27 cut-off wheel having a completely flat profile. As it lacks a depressed center, it provides more cutting surface and minimizes interference with the workpiece. The speed of the grinder must be compared to the speed marked on the wheel which is at a maximum of 15,300 RPM in this case. The product in discussion has the ability to vary the pressure as needed to provide a coarser or smoother finish. Varying models in grit standards from coarse to fine (24 to 120) are available. Disc with lower grit numbers will suit standard grinding and those with higher grit numbers provide smoother finishes. Choose flap disc with one or two grits coarser than required for best results.
