    Adjustable geometry via a fine pitch screw to widen or close the die opening for precise thread formation.

    Chamfered faces on both sides: one side provides a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for standard threading, the opposite side provides a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

    The slot is beveled so adjustments can be made with a machine holder; the adjusting screw can be removed when using the holder’s adjustment screws.

    Bright uncoated finish suitable for general metalworking applications.
