Features

    Fine pitch screw adjusts the die width, allowing precise threading by moving the sides apart or bringing them together.

    Chamfer geometry on both faces supports different starting conditions: one side uses a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for entering threads, the opposite side uses a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder.

    Beveled slot design enables adjustment when mounted in a machine holder; the adjusting screw can be removed and final alignment made with holder screws.

    HSS construction offers improved wear life for repeated threading operations compared to standard carbon steel dies.
