Applications

The YG1 07573TE solid carbide end mill, featuring a 1/4″ diameter and 3/4″ length of cut, combines a 4-flute design with a 30° helix angle and TiAlN Extreme coating to deliver a strong balance of strength and chip evacuation for steel and cast iron milling. With a length-to-diameter ratio of 3.0, this tool offers moderate reach and stiffness suitable for general milling and slotting in free-machining and low carbon steels.
Its lack of a corner radius places cutting force on sharp edges, relying on coating and flute geometry for edge chipping resistance. The TiAlN Extreme coating performs well in high-temperature environments, extending tool life during continuous cuts in steel and stainless steel.
This end mill is not recommended for non-ferrous materials due to coating unsuitability. Featuring a single-end, center-cutting geometry, it allows plunge cutting and versatility across various milling operations.
