The Niagara Cutter REM 710 TiCN-coated carbide roughing end mill is general-purpose machining with a three/four/five/six/eight flutes design and a 30-degree helix angle. The tool’s flat end creates sharp, unrounded cuts. The lower 30-degree helix angle wraps slowly and provides a strong cutting angle. The knuckle-fluted design and round profile are best used on difficult-to-machine materials. End mills have cutting edges along the outside diameter and the flutes. It is designed such that the chips are removed while cooling fluids enter easily. The end mill’s multiple flutes design gives a finer finish than single flute cutters. Models with Titanium CarboNitride (TiCN) coating offer a lower friction coefficient in many applications. It offers enhanced abrasive wear resistance in harsh industrial conditions. The tool material is made up of M42 high-speed steel. 8% Cobalt is added to increase the overall tool hardness.
