This configuration excels in finishing stainless steel and tough alloys, where control and surface quality are paramount. Its 40° helix angle combined with six flutes and a Hardslick coating promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces built-up edge. Optimized for stainless steel (ISO M), HRSA (ISO S), and hard materials (ISO H), this tools geometry and coating offer superior heat resistance and wear protection. The high flute count supports fine finishing passes, while the Hardslick coating minimizes friction and adhesion. Center-cutting geometry enables plunge cutting and accurate slotting. Usage on steel (ISO P) and non-ferrous (ISO N) materials is not recommended due to poor compatibility with the Hardslick coating, which will degrade rapidly. The lack of a corner radius necessitates careful handling to avoid chipping during interrupted cuts, focusing this tool on continuous finishing rather than roughing operations.
